A Space Designed Around Stillness

Step inside and the first thing you notice is the quiet. The interiors lean into a calming, minimalist design philosophy, clean lines, soft neutral tones, and natural textures that let your nervous system exhale the moment you walk through the door. There is no clutter competing for your attention, no overstimulation, just intentional space that gives your mind room to settle.

Salt lamps glow warmly in the corners of the room, casting a soft amber light that is perfect for winding down in the evening or easing into a slow morning. Their gentle ionizing effect is a small but meaningful touch, part of a broader philosophy that runs through this entire property, that your environment should support your wellbeing rather than distract from it.

For those who practice yoga, movement, or breathwork, yoga mats are provided and ready to roll out at any hour. Morning sun salutations on the private terrace, an evening stretch before bed, or a full flow whenever the mood strikes, the space accommodates it all without you needing to pack a thing.

Oil diffusers fill the air with soft, natural aromatherapy, whether you prefer something grounding like sandalwood or something bright and citrusy to wake up the senses. It is one of those details you might not think to ask for, but once you experience it, you will understand why it matters. Scent has a powerful effect on mood and stress, and Kenko Wellness leans into that fully.

And for guests who want to go a step further in their recovery practice, acupuncture mats are available on site. These pressure point mats are a favorite among wellness enthusiasts for easing tension, improving circulation, and supporting a deeper, more restful sleep. Combined with the salt lamps and diffusers, the whole space starts to feel less like a rental and more like a personal retreat center.

Comfort Without Compromise

Bali's tropical climate is beautiful, but it can be intense, especially during the middle of the day. Kenko Wellness is fully air conditioned, so you can control your environment and stay comfortable no matter what the weather is doing outside. Come back from a sweaty gym session or a morning surf, cool down completely, and get straight into recovery mode.

Connectivity is another area where this property does not cut corners. Fast Starlink Wi Fi runs throughout the space, giving you the kind of stable, high speed connection that remote work actually requires. Video calls without buffering, large file uploads, streaming, all of it works exactly the way it should. For digital nomads who have dealt with the frustration of unreliable island Wi Fi before, this alone is worth its weight in gold. You can genuinely work a full day from Kenko Wellness without a single dropped call.

Steps From Bingin Beach

One of the biggest draws of this location is simply where it sits. Kenko Wellness is just minutes from Bingin Beach, one of the most iconic stretches of coastline on the entire Bukit Peninsula. Framed by dramatic limestone cliffs and reached by a winding set of stairs carved into the rock, Bingin Beach feels like a secret even though everyone who visits Bali eventually finds their way there. The sand is soft, the water is a clear turquoise over a protective coral reef, and the whole scene is lined with laid back beach shacks serving cold drinks and fresh seafood as the sun goes down.

Surfers know Bingin for its beautiful left hand break, a classy, hollow wave that lights up when the rest of the Bukit is being pounded by big dry season swell. It is a prime intermediate wave, but even if you are not paddling out yourself, watching surfers glide across that reef at golden hour is one of those quintessential Bali moments.

And Bingin is really just the starting point. This stretch of coastline is a surf lover's playground. Padang Padang, often nicknamed the Balinese Pipeline, sits just a short walk or scooter ride away, known for its long, hollow barrels that draw advanced surfers from around the world. Impossibles, arguably one of the most photographed waves on the planet, peels along the same reef system just north of Padang Padang, offering long, fast lines for those who know how to read it. A little further along you have Dreamland, with its more forgiving, sandy bottomed break that is friendlier for surfers still building confidence, and world famous Uluwatu, home to five distinct reef breaks including Racetracks, Temples, and The Peak, all just minutes away by scooter. Balangan rounds out the lineup, a mellower, more open beach break that is perfect for an easier session. In short, whatever your surf level or mood on any given day, you have an entire menu of world class waves within a very short ride of your front door.

Bambu Gym and the Fitness Scene

For guests who want to keep their training dialed in while they travel, Bambu Gym is right in the neighborhood on Jalan Pantai Bingin, and it has quickly become one of the most talked about fitness spots on the Bukit. This is not your average gym. Think open air training floors, premium equipment, CrossFit style group classes, strength and conditioning sessions, and a genuine community energy where the coaches actually coach rather than just count reps. After you train, the recovery setup is next level, ice baths ranging from properly cold to bracing, and a panoramic sauna that looks straight out over the pool. Pair a morning workout with an ice bath, a sauna session, and a coffee at the on site cafe, and you have basically built yourself a full wellness morning without ever leaving the block. Popular classes fill up fast, so guests who want to join a session are best off booking ahead.

Cafes, Coffee, and Good Food All Around

Bingin has developed a genuinely excellent food and coffee scene, the kind that makes it easy to eat well every single day of your stay without repeating yourself. A short walk or quick scooter ride puts you in reach of some standout spots. Drifter Surf Cafe is an institution here, an iconic surf shop and coffee bar combo with a laid back, Bob Marley soundtrack kind of energy, well loved by both locals and travelers passing through. Suka Espresso brings an Australian style brunch menu and consistently good coffee, a favorite among surfers looking for a solid meal after a session. BRAUD Cafe, an extension of the well known BRAUD Artisan Bakery, is the move if you are craving proper sourdough, pastries, or a perfectly pulled espresso.

For something lighter and more health focused, Alchemy and its neighboring spot serve up clean, nourishing bowls and salads with an open air, breezy setting, while The Cashew Tree offers organic breakfasts and smoothies just footsteps from the cliffs, a favorite for families and health conscious travelers alike. Artisan is another standout for a more elevated breakfast or brunch, known for its burrata toast and beautifully brewed coffee. And when the sun starts to dip, you have Juniartis right on Bingin Beach itself, less of a restaurant and more of a Bali institution, plastic chairs on the sand, fresh catch of the day, and a sunset view that never gets old.

Whether you are craving a health forward smoothie bowl before yoga, a hearty brunch after a surf session, or a relaxed dinner on the beach as the sky turns orange, you will never have to go far or settle for less than great.

Built for the Modern Traveler

Kenko Wellness sits at the intersection of everything the modern traveler is actually looking for. It is quiet enough to focus, comfortable enough to fully unwind, and positioned close enough to the action that you are never more than a few minutes from the beach, the waves, the gym, or your next great meal. For the digital nomad, it means real productivity without sacrificing the Bali lifestyle you came for. For the surfer, it means waking up minutes from some of the most famous breaks in the world. For the wellness focused traveler, it means a room that was designed with your recovery and your calm in mind, down to the smallest detail.

This is not a place you pass through. It is a place you actually get to slow down in.

Book your stay at Kenko Wellness and give yourself the retreat you have been putting off for far too long.

Just a quick note about the villa. Since we're so close to the ocean, the salt air can sometimes cause wear on outdoor fixtures like the sink or shower, things like light rust or corrosion over time. We do our best to keep everything well maintained and repaired regularly, but living by the beach means the salt water and air can affect both outdoor and indoor elements of the villa. Thanks for understanding, and please let us know if you notice anything that needs attention during your stay.

Our staff will be there at your beck and call.

Staff will be there to support you in anything you need.

“Public review: Goede prijs kwaliteit verhouding! Het zit qua locatie wat verder weg, maar dat was wat ons betreft geen probleem. Het appartement is van alle gemakken voorzien. Houd er wel rekening mee dat er geen ramen zijn. Private feedback: Thank you for everything! I had an amazing time”
Anouck Weijs · September 2026

“Public review: I stayed at this Airbnb for 2 weeks and had the most amazing stay in Bali! First of all, best bed and pillows of my life, the location is super peaceful and quiet , the home is SUPER clean and fresh and smells amazing. They always offered to clean every 2 days included and the service was amazing. Rangga was impeccable, always answered on the minute for any suggestions or extra requirements. They were super flexible with my check in and check out. If you are coming to uluwatu I highly recommend staying here as it felt super safe, comfortable, clean and really beautiful decoration. Cant wait to come back here !”

“Public review: What a beautiful stay! Loved every minute of it. Felt like a beautiful little oasis in the heart of bingin and super close to everywhere else in ulu. Would highly recommend staying here :) The staff was so so friendly and super responsive and even gave me recommendations to cool happenings close by. Felt like I made a new friend! Private feedback: Loved staying here so much thank you! The hot water ran out a lot, that is the only thing I can think of that would need improvement but overall really great stay thank you :)”

“Public review: The villa manager is great. The stay was ok in general. Private feedback: I think a lot could be improved here because the villa does have potential. 1. The bathroom smells awful. There's cows nearby so I understand this is somewhat out of your control but I would recommend finding a solution or getting better doors because the current door between bathroom/bedroom allows for the smell to come through strongly. Also front door lets rain/bugs in because it's not fully flush with the floor. 2. Hot water - I know you mentioned that you have the biggest water heater in bali but it's simply not true. Every homestay I've stayed at had longer hot showers than this place. I had to cleanse, turn off water, cleanse again, water again...it was ridiculous. 3. Better kitchen setup, 2 knives and 1 spoon, might as well add a fork it didn't feel complete in general. Also it would be nice to just have coffee stocked instead of rationing them out. 4. Let guests know its a downstairs unit. I had so much trouble sleeping with the footsteps upstairs, sometimes all night long.”

“Public review: I loved my stay here at this hidden gem! Super comfy, very cute and had everything I needed. Perfect for solo travelers or couples. Bed was very comfy and communication was very smooth. I’d definitely stay here again as this was close to everywhere you needed to go in Bingin. Private feedback: Thank you for everything Rangga!!!”
