A 5-Day Wellness Reset in South Bali

Kenko means "health" in Japanese, and a few slow days in Bali are one of the best ways to get some of it back. This is a gentle plan, not a strict schedule. Swap days around, skip anything that doesn't feel right, and leave plenty of space to do nothing at all.

Day 1: Arrive and switch off

Keep the first day empty. Unpack, take a swim, eat something fresh and get an early night. Travel days take more out of you than you think.

Day 2: Move your body

Start with a sunrise yoga or mobility class, then spend the late morning at Melasti or Padang Padang. In the afternoon, book a traditional Balinese massage and finish with sunset over the ocean.

Day 3: Ocean day

Try a beginner surf lesson on a gentle day, or simply swim and explore the rock pools at Bingin at low tide. Salt water, sun and a long lunch is a reset on its own.

Day 4: Green and slow

Head inland for a change of scene: rice field walks around Umalas, a plant-based lunch, and a visit to Tanah Lot or a day trip to Ubud if you feel like exploring.

Day 5: Reflect and recharge

Sleep in. Journal, take one last swim, and watch the sunset at Uluwatu Temple with the Kecak fire dance. Notice how different you feel from day one.

Make it a longer stay

Five days is a great start, but a longer stay gives your body time to properly settle into a new rhythm. Ask us about stays of a week or more.
